About this experience
You will climb to the top of the famous Balinese volcano, walk along the rim of the crater, and see the neighboring island in the rays of the sunrise. And then you will relax in a cozy place by the lake, bathe in thermal springs and a magnificent waterfall, visit coffee, cocoa, and spice plantations, and also stroll through picturesque rice terraces.
What to Expect
A magical sunrise on the volcano top
Batur is the second largest volcano on the island. It looks especially enchanting at sunrise, and it is essential to appreciate the views from it to complete your collection of impressions from Balinese beauties. At 2 o'clock in the night, we will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the base of the volcano, where the ascent accompanied by guides by the light of torches will begin. The full ascent will take 2 hours. And right at sunrise, you will reach the summit, where you can meet a new day in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, take fantastic photos, and have a snack. The descent will take 1.5 hours.
Bathing in thermal springs
After the volcano, we will take you to a cozy place by Lake Batur, where several pools with a wonderful panoramic view are located. Here, in the Toya Bungkah thermal springs, you can bathe and enjoy the aesthetic pleasure of new natural landscapes.
Coffee, cocoa, and spice plantations
The next point of the program is getting acquainted with traditional Balinese products. On the jungle-surrounded plantation, you will see how coffee, cocoa, fruits, and many other tropical plants are grown. You will taste different types of coffee and drinks from other plants and, if desired, you can purchase your favorite ones at the local shop.
Alas Harum Rice Terraces
Not far from Ubud, surrounded by coconut jungles, are the spectacular Alas Harum rice terraces. After the plantations, you will head there. In addition to the panoramic views from the observation decks, you will also appreciate the stroll on the terraces, during which you can take plenty of excellent photos at the artificial bird nests made of rattan, on specially equipped swings, and in natural corners of the surroundings.
Tegenungan Waterfall
In the end, you will visit a 20-meter waterfall cascading from a cliff into a small pond, surrounded by lush greenery. Here, you will feel like heroes from a movie in the style of 'The Blue Lagoon', swim in the whirlpools, and saturate yourself with the harmony of Bali's wild nature.
The excursion will end at 3:00 PM, and the entire second half of the day will be at your disposal!
