About this experience
The idea of my route arose from the desire to show Verona from an unexpected perspective - the waters of the Adige, the key river in the city's history. You will see architectural masterpieces and natural beauties from a new angle. Get acquainted with the river's ecosystem and its rich past, awaken your inner seeker of adventures, and add vibrant colors to your life!
What Awaits You
- We will meet at the Scaliger Bridge and in 15 minutes drive to the starting point - the Chievo port
- After a 5-minute briefing and preparation, we will set off. An experienced instructor will accompany us, ensuring safety and comfort on the water.
- From the 19th-century dam, we will pass by the Borgo Trento hospital, the San Zeno Basilica, and under the Ponte Scaligeri bridge
- We will float past the Castelvecchio Castle on the raft
- You will see the Roman triumphal arch of Gavi, palaces from the 16th century, the Victoria and Garibaldi bridges, the Borgo Trento and Veronetta districts, the famous library from the 6th century, the cathedral, and other attractions
- Under the oldest city bridge, Ponte Pietra, you will encounter the river's excitement. After successfully passing the rapids, you will see the last bridge on our route, Ponte Navi.
- The water trip will end at the former river customs area in the Filippini district, just a five-minute walk from Juliet's house
- During rafting, we will discuss different aspects of the city's life related to the river - from the historical significance of the Adige to its current state and impact on the economy and urban planning

Organizational Details
- The cost of the excursion includes guide services
- Raft rental and transfer to the port are additionally paid - €35/adult, €20/child
- We will drive to the port by Fiat Talento or Opel Vivaro
- The excursion can be visited from March to November
- Rafts are in very high demand. Please book the excursion in advance.
