About this experience
You will visit the iconic places of ancient and picturesque Armenia. Visit the 4th-9th century monasteries Khor Virap, Geghard, and Sevanavank, the pagan temple of Garni, Ararat Arch, and Lake Sevan. Within a day after the trip, you will receive 30 edited and about 100 unedited photos. For an additional fee, we can provide a guide from our team who will introduce you to the sights.
What to Expect
The most picturesque places of Armenia - through the lens
- Khor Virap Monastery - its history is connected with the proclamation of Armenia as the first Christian state in the world.
- Ararat Arch, or Charents Arch - a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat from the observation platform.
- Pagan temple of Garni - the most famous monument of the pagan and Hellenistic era.
- Geghard Monastery - a marvelous creation of man. Halls carved into the basalt rock house reliefs, each of which is a work of art. Here you can also buy the famous Geghard wedding cake (traditional pastry).
- Symphony of Stones - the rocks of the gorge consist of huge basalt columns over 50 meters high. Due to their unusual hexagonal shape, the place is also called the "Stone Organ" and "Basalt Organ".
- Lake Sevan, the pearl of Armenia - the largest and one of the most beautiful lakes in the Caucasus. Located in a mountain bowl at an altitude of 1916 meters above sea level.
- Sevanavank Monastery - a 9th-century sanctuary located on the Sevan Peninsula. From the top of the hill, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the azure Sevan.
