About this experience
Today, each of us has the opportunity to visit a church, but we do not always understand certain canons, dogmas, traditions, and customs of the churches correctly. You will be able to find detailed answers to many questions during this walk. In a peaceful atmosphere, I will introduce you to the shrines and landmarks of the city. The tour has a historical-cultural character and is aimed at all those interested in the details of the cultural-religious life of the city.

We will touch on the themes of the mystery of depicting holy faces, the reasons for the schism of two churches, the Free City's desire to unite two religions in its primal beginning - Christianity, and receive blessings from relics.
Tiny and exquisite items in the showcases: the relics of St. Lawrence, St. Anne and St. Joachim, the hair of the Virgin Mary, a thorn from the crown of Christ, fragments of Christ's cross, the dish of St. John on which, as tradition said, the beheaded head of John the Baptist lay, and the Holy Grail Chalice or dish into which Saint Nicodemus collected the blood of Jesus after his removal from the cross are located in the cathedral's treasury.
Thousands of pilgrims strive to visit the Holy Shrine and not only relate to its spiritual origins but also get acquainted with its relics and priceless artistic treasures. The history of the creation of icons and frescoes will reveal to us the meaning and content of church art as a special, spiritual dimension.
