About this experience
In this fun and exciting journey, kids will interact with a friendly donkey, pet llamas, and meet other farm animals. They will walk barefoot along a trail paved with stones, laurel leaves, pine cones, and bark. Kids will play on the beach and playgrounds, feed swans in the park. And if you wish, Amelia - a cheerful Jack Russell Terrier, can join us!
What to Expect
Best Places to Stay with Kids
This program was born from my own experience of walks with my son. Our favorite places have been enjoyed by many of my family guests, and for children, this day became one of the most memorable experiences in Madeira. I believe that these adventures will enhance your trip too.
Visit to the Animals at the Farm
We will visit a cozy bio-farm, home to a friendly family of various domestic animals. Children will see ostriches and peacocks, cows and piglets, pet horses and llamas, and make friends with a gentle donkey. There is a playground on-site where they can have some fun, and at the farm cafe, you can taste homemade lemon and passion fruit jam, delicious tea made from local herbs, and bio-liqueurs.
"Barefoot" Levada Walk
After interacting with the animals, we will embark on a special walking experience. The secret is to walk barefoot on a path made of stones, pine cones, bark, water, laurel leaves, and other ecological and natural materials. The change in tactile sensations is usually enjoyed by both children and adults. And if you get tired, you can always step onto the soft grass carpet planted along the trail.
Beach Activities and Swan Feeding
At the ocean shore, we will build sand castles together, the bravest ones can swim, and for those who prefer not to, I will suggest playing pirates at the island's largest playground, which has two sections for children of different ages. And if the heroes still have energy left, we will then head to the central park where they can hand-feed swans.

- We will travel in a 7-seater Peugeot Rifter with folding tables, child car seats, toys, and tablets for watching cartoons
- The program is designed for children from 2 years old
- If you want Amelia, the Jack Russell Terrier, to accompany you, please inform me in advance and make sure that all participants of the tour do not have a dog allergy
