What to expect
Fairytale museum Junibacken
Many fairytale characters live here. It's hard to call this place just a museum. You can have it all here!
- Visit the house of the Moomin trolls and see how they live, and later try the meatballs made by Moomin Mama.
- Ride in a wagon and embark on a journey through Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales, which will be in Russian. Perhaps you will discover new works that you will want to read later.
- Visit the most independent girl in the world - Pippi. And I will tell you why she is called Pippi in Russian-speaking countries.
- Find out why Karlsson made fun of Miss Bok and where he got his strange name from.
Walk through the royal hunting grounds
We will not hunt wild animals, except perhaps for beautiful photos of these animals in the amazing Skansen park. All of Sweden's history is concentrated in Skansen. Here you will find old houses, workshops, schools, cafes, post offices, and even a couple of factories from all over the country! You can also see specimens of various plants that can be found in Sweden. Moreover, Skansen is not just a park with old buildings - people live in each house and do what they would have done in the times when a particular house was built, and the park's guests explain and show everything. In the park, you will see domestic and wild animals brought from all over the country. Bring some nuts with you and we will feed the little squirrels that Nils helped. In Skansen, you will also learn what children were given instead of pacifiers in the past, and how Swedes now wean their children from them; why sawdust was added to bread in the past and many other curious facts.
