About this experience
Immerse yourself in the mysterious world of Ancient Egypt! You will see the famous Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. As well as other less known but incredibly interesting places: the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the Serapeum Underground Temple, and the multi-roomed tomb of Mereruka. We will share their millennia-old history and legends.
What to Expect
Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. You will see the three legendary pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. As well as their guardian, the Great Sphinx, with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion. Additionally, we will show you the Valley Temple where mummies were prepared for burial.
Step Pyramid of Djoser. This is the first carved stone building in the world. It is located in the ancient settlement of Saqqara. We will decode the architectural features of this unique pyramid.
Serapeum Underground Temple. Descending into the catacombs, you will see 26 massive granite sarcophagi. Discover who is buried in them and how they ended up here.
Mereruka's Tomb. We will visit the ancient necropolis where the influential official Mereruka, his wife, and son are laid to rest. It consists of several rooms adorned with engravings depicting local life from past centuries.
