About this experience
In a game format, you will discover interesting facts about the city and explore new places. The quest is self-guided, allowing you to solve tasks of different difficulty levels at your own pace (I will send them to you via messenger). You will explore the Jugendstil quarter, or Riga Art Nouveau, the picturesque Kronvalds Park, and of course, the Old Town. I will be available throughout to assist if needed.
What to Expect
- Did you know that there are over 800 Jugendstil (Riga Art Nouveau) buildings in Riga? That's why the city is called the Art Nouveau capital of the world. Through tasks that will guide you through the Jugendstil quarter, you will uncover facts from the early 20th century and the Soviet period. To solve the riddles, you will need to carefully examine facade details!
- Then the quest will lead you to the Old Town (Vecriga). This is the most challenging and at the same time the most interesting location. Get ready to look for clues on ancient and modern buildings, explore landmarks, interact with the city's residents, and more.
- In addition to urban spaces, you will also explore the territory of Kronvalds Park, where among the trees hide charming pavilions, fountains, sculptures, and monuments.
Format Features
The quest is self-guided. I will send you written tasks that you will step-by-step overcome, and you will send me answers in real-time through messenger. There are no time restrictions for the quest, so you can take a break for coffee or have a full meal - I will send you a list of top cafes and restaurants in Riga.
Organizational Details
- Immediately after booking, I will contact you via one of the messengers (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber) and provide instructions. Then you will embark on an independent journey through the city at your own pace. I will be in touch throughout the quest.
- The quest is designed for participants over 10 years old, but younger children can also participate with adult assistance.
