In Search of the Empress
Sissi visited the town only twice - in 1870 and 1889. She stayed at the 'Kaiserhof' hotel and 'Trauttmansdorff' castle-botanical garden. She strolled along the promenade along the river, admired the mountain air of the mountain resort, and the amazing collection of the botanical garden. We will follow her ghost and talk about the history of 'Kaiserhof', see the Kurpromenade, the Kurhaus, the city theater, and then find the empress's monument in her favorite park.
