Hot mineral springs with healing waters, pure air filled with the aroma of waffles, leisurely walks along the Tepla River promenade - all this is the famous spa town of Karlovy Vary! You will stroll through the historic part of the city, learn how traditional spa treatments have changed over the centuries, and discover what else makes this corner of Czechia famous. I will tell you about the famous guests of the resort, including Goethe, Peter the Great, Gogol, and scientist Pavlov. We will walk along the Jan Palach Promenade, admire the renowned Grandhotel Pupp, and visit the colonnades with healing mineral springs known worldwide.
Stroll around the resort town
Then you will have time to explore Karlovy Vary on your own, feel the city's atmosphere and its special energy. I will recommend you a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy delicious traditional Czech dishes at a relatively low cost. You can also visit the Becherovka liquor museum and climb the Diana Observation Tower for a wonderful view of the city.
