Hot mineral springs with healing water, pure air filled with the aroma of waffles, leisurely walks along the Tepla River embankment - all this is the famous spa town of Karlovy Vary! You will walk through the historical part of the town, learn how traditional spa treatment has evolved over the centuries, and discover what else makes this corner of Czechia famous. I will tell you about the distinguished guests of the resort, including Goethe, Peter the Great, Gogol, and the scientist Pavlov. We will stroll along the Jan Palach Embankment, admire the renowned Grandhotel Pupp, and visit the colonnades with mineral springs famous worldwide.
Walk around the Resort Town
Afterwards, you will have time to stroll around Karlovy Vary on your own, feel the city's atmosphere and its unique energy. I will recommend you a wonderful restaurant where you can have delicious meals of traditional Czech cuisine at a relatively affordable price. You can also visit the Becherovka Liqueur Museum and climb the Diana Observation Tower, which offers a wonderful view of the city.
