Join us on a tour to Tsarskoye Selo! You will explore the Catherine Palace from the outside and inside - the suburban summer residence of the imperial family, founded in the early 18th century. You will walk through the ceremonial halls, including the famous Amber Room. And also stroll through the park, combining English and French landscape traditions.
What to expect
- Catherine Palace. You will visit the Cavalier Dining Room with unusual porcelain services and the Picture Room, where paintings replace wallpapers. As well as the Green Dining Room in the classicism style and the Golden Enfilade with gilded passages. You will also see the luxurious white marble staircase and the clock-barometer. And, of course, you will see the famous Amber Room.
- Catherine Park. We will walk through the historic park, divided into 2 parts: English landscape and French regular. I will tell you how they differ, what is the purpose of the park pavilions, how the distinguished persons spent their leisure time, and what the ancient sculptures symbolize.
