About this experience
Walking tour is the best way to get acquainted with the small Amsterdam. Our goal is to introduce you to the real spirit of the city, immerse you in its modern life, orient you on the terrain, and tell the most interesting stories.
What to Expect
To help you explore all the main places in Amsterdam, we offer two tour routes - Red and Blue. They alternate daily and cover 90% of the city's main attractions:
- Red route - passes through the western part of Amsterdam, it's a kind of 'quiet center' where locals like to go. There are many beautiful, unusual, and even secret places. You will see the Big Canals, the 9 Streets district, the bohemian Jordaan neighborhood, the Brewers' Canal, Begijnhof, places connected with Anne Frank, secret courtyards, and a church. The walk will end in the heart of the city - on the main Dam Square.
- Blue route - goes through the entire city and shows the diversity of Amsterdam. City wall towers, Chinese and Jewish quarters, Amsterdam Port, East India Company, Rembrandt Square, flower market, and much more. The tour will finish in one of the central squares of the city - Spui.
On each of the routes, we make about 20 stops, where we introduce you to the famous and secret places of Amsterdam, their unusual history and customs. But our tours are not a history lesson, we don't overload with dates and names. Of course, key data will not escape our attention, without them it's difficult to understand the history of Amsterdam. But our main task is to introduce you to this wonderful city, show the most interesting and important places, orientate you and help plan your stay. At the same time, we will tell you what only locals know. This information is not printed in guidebooks!
There is no risk of getting lost, missing something, or not learning about the city, because our two routes cover all aspects of the past and present. Our tour is a kind of guide that provides excellent orientation in the city. How not to get lost among thousands of beautiful canals, where to buy souvenirs or eat, learn a lot of unusual, paradoxical, and interesting things. We will enjoy history, culture, architecture, delve into local laws.
Rain, snow, wind, fog, or sun - this won't hinder our tour. The main thing is your desire to get to know Amsterdam.
Do you have a large group or need a private walk? Write to us, and we will organize everything.
