Group Excursion to the Köprülü and Tazi Canyons from Side: Rafting and Jeeping/Cabrio Safari
About this experience
The protected Köprülü Canyon is untouched nature, the sound of river rapids, and breathtaking landscapes. We will take you by bus to the starting point. Then you will switch to 10-seater boats and embark on a river rafting adventure. After that, you will drive on jeeps or cabrio buses to the Tazi Canyon, also known as the 'Valley of Wisdom', and enjoy the stunning view from above.
What to Expect
Jeeping and panoramic views of the Tazi Canyon. Along the way, you will admire the mountainous nature, but the main goal of this trip is the viewpoint that offers a dizzying view of the gorge. You will have time to enjoy this spectacle and take pictures.
Rafting on the Köprüçay River. We will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the Köprülü Canyon. After briefing and equipment distribution, you will descend to the river - and the fun begins! Impressive landscapes of the Köprülü Canyon and a route with rapids that will add adrenaline to your adventure await you.
Lunch. Afterward, we will return to the base where you can change clothes and have lunch.
Upon returning to the base, you can view the photos taken during rafting and, for an additional fee, get your favorite printed, as well as purchase a flash drive with a video of the rafting experience.

The rapids have a 1st and 2nd difficulty category, making rafting suitable for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts.
Program
- Meeting the travelers and departure from the hotel (08:30 - 09:30)
- Arrival at the Köprülü Canyon area (Beşkonak) around 10:30
- Departure by jeeps or cabrio buses to the Tazi Canyon (45 minutes on the road)
- Free time at the viewpoint above the cliff (20 minutes)
- Return journey on jeeps or cabrio buses
- Safety instruction and equipment distribution for rafting
- Rafting start, 10 km rafting with stops
- Return to the base, late lunch (around 15:30 - 16:00)
- Departure from the Beşkonak base
- Return to the hotels (18:30 - 19:30)
Organizational Details
How the Trip Goes
- Note: this is a sightseeing walk without a guide. There will be a Russian- and English-speaking curator with you; before rafting, they will provide all safety information and guidance on navigating the rapids
- Distance from the center of Side to Köprülü Canyon is 70 km
- Boats are designed for 10 people and a rowing guide
- We travel to the Tazi Canyon by jeeps or cabrio buses
- The sequence of program points and excursion duration may vary depending on weather conditions and the number of participants
- Guests from different countries will be on the walk
- Children under 3 years do not have a separate seat in the transfer. Children sit with adults (on their laps). A separate lunch is not provided for children; they eat with their parents. If you want your child under 3 years old to have a separate seat in the transfer and receive a personal lunch, then when ordering, you need to purchase a corresponding ticket for them.
