About this experience
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of luxury and romance of Paris! You will stroll through the Triangle d'Or, hear dramatic and fascinating stories of the district, and see iconic landmarks - from the first Dior boutique to the Eiffel Tower. I will reveal hidden non-touristy locations and share which shops are open on weekends, and gladly answer any questions.
What to Expect
The Golden Triangle is formed by three streets - the Champs-Élysées, Avenue Montaigne, and Rue George V. Here, wealthy Parisians live, work, and enjoy the magnificent architecture. I will tell you about the history of the triangle, its buildings, and boulevards. We will also discuss the fates of the people directly related to this place. You will walk along the most beautiful avenue in the world, discover off-the-beaten-path corners of the neighborhood, admire views of the city not only from the left or right bank of the Seine but also from the beautiful Parisian bridges.
On our route:
- Grand Palais and Petit Palais. In 1900, they served as pavilions at the World's Fair, and today they adorn the city.
- Hôtel de Marquise de Paiva. In the 19th century, interesting salons and even more interesting parties took place here.
- Dior - the first boutique and office of couturier Christian Dior
- Plaza Athénée - a top-category hotel with Palace status. It is frequented by politicians, fashion industry representatives, and show business personalities. This hotel is also often featured in movies.
- Champs-Élysées - the most beautiful shopping artery of Paris. Here, contrary to French rules, boutiques are open on Sundays.
- Eiffel Tower - one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world
Additionally, you will see the offices and boutiques of the biggest French and international fashion houses, luxurious mansions, and scenes from fashion photoshoots and haute couture shows.
