About this experience
Join us for a leisurely half-day journey dedicated to the wildlife and spices of Goa! Suitable for travelers of all ages. At Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, you will see leopards, jackals, antelopes, and more. And at the spice plantation, immerse yourself in the world of local spices and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch.
What to Expect
Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary. We will visit a picturesque corner of wild nature at the foothills of the Western Ghats, where a beautiful zoo is located. You will encounter a variety of animals including porcupines, leopards, jackals, gaurs, snakes, turtles, crocodiles, wild boars, emus, antelopes, parrots, and monkeys.
Spice Plantation. See how pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, betel leaf (known as the "Indian narcotic"), vanilla, and more grow. A local guide will explain the purpose and uses of these "local gold" spices.
Traditional Goan Lunch. On banana leaf plates, you will taste Goan specialties such as kingfish steak, prawns in curry sauce, and biryani. Enjoy Indian sweets, fruits, vegetables, and feni – homemade coconut or cashew liquor.
