About this experience
During a trip to this colorful state, you will get acquainted with its brightest facets. Travel through tropical thickets on a jeep to the 'milky sea' - one of India's largest waterfalls. See how exotic plants grow. Awaken all your senses by trying Goan cuisine dishes. Explore the monuments of Old Goa.
Program
- Scenic Road to the Reserve. We will pick you up early in the morning and set off through settlements, fruit plantations, and rice fields. You will be accompanied not only by authentic landscapes, but also by the history of India and Goa, stories about the colonial era, centuries-old traditions, and the daily life of local residents.
- Off-Road Jeep Safari through the Mountain Jungles. Next, you will switch to jeeps and head off-road to Dudhsagar Waterfall.
- Swimming in the Waterfall. In this magical place, you can relax, swim in the lake, and take bright photos. And if you wish, feed the monkey families politely waiting for guests.
- Spice Plantation. There will be a separate story about spices and seasonings - we will recall the Iberian sailors and the significant events that unfolded for the 'gold of India.' At the plantation, you will learn the intricacies of growing future spices and their uses: have you ever seen cashew moonshine being distilled? You will see!
- Goan Lunch. There you will have lunch with traditional Goan dishes in a buffet style and try an Indian citrus-spicy drink.
- Old Goa. The program will end with acquainting yourself with the historical area, where the narrative about colonial times will continue - architectural monuments of those centuries have been preserved here. You will learn how the conquests influenced the culture of South India. And visit three temples illustrating historical metamorphoses: the St. Catherine's Cathedral, Bom Jesus Basilica, and Ganesh Hindu Temple.
