About this experience
Shakhrisabz is one of the most picturesque cities in Uzbekistan. Its name translates as 'green city' for a reason. You will see for yourself how much lush greenery surrounds it. In addition to natural beauty, I will show you mausoleums, mosques, and other masterpieces of ancient architecture related to the founder of the Timurid dynasty, Amir Timur (Tamerlane).
What to Expect
Mountain landscapes, bazaar, and tandoori meat
From Samarkand, in an hour we will reach the mountains. We will climb to the pass (1800 meters) and I will show you panoramic points for beautiful photos. Then we will stop at the bazaar, where they sell mountain herbs, spices, and dried fruits. And for lunch right in the mountains, we will try the famous stewed meat cooked in the tandoor.
