Pennabilli! This town in the Apennine Mountains is like a Renaissance painting. Every corner here is a brilliant picture, every landscape is a masterpiece, every inscription on a plaque is spot on. In 1989, maestro Tonino Guerra settled in Pennabilli. Everything he touched turned into poetry and gained meaning. We will walk through places connected to him and immerse ourselves in their enchanting atmosphere.
What to expect
On the tour of the fairy-tale Pennabilli, you will:
- Visit the house-museum of Tonino Guerra
- Admire the picturesque hills and the Rubicon River
- See the bell of the Dalai Lama
- Explore the Romanesque church of Saint Christopher with frescoes from the 14th century

Additionally, you will stroll through three unusual gardens: Garden of Thoughts, Forgotten Fruits, and Stone Flowers. You will see sculptures arranged in a magical scheme. Also, fruits and vegetables from the Roman Empire era, monuments shaped as pine cones, snails, leaves, and acorns. And sundials featuring the profiles of Guerra's dear friends: Federico Fellini and Giulietta Masina.
