From Pattaya to Cambodia: following in Lara Croft's footsteps in a mini group
About this experience
Once the mighty Khmer Empire ruled the territory of Cambodia. Centuries later, its legacy not only lives on in majestic temples, but also permeates everyday life, filling it with a special meaning. In a group trip from Pattaya to Cambodia, you will discover the mysterious history of an ancient civilization along with the unique life of inhabitants of floating houses on the lake shore.
What to expect
In Cambodia, an incredible stone world is hidden among centuries-old trees. Modern blockbusters are filmed in ancient ruins, and hundreds of floating residential houses are scattered in a secluded sanctuary where lively trade takes place. Every corner here is imbued with extraordinary energy that makes your head spin.
Over two days, you will learn about the history of Cambodia, the daily life and culture of its people, and visit the most mystical places. These include the world-renowned temple complex Angkor Wat and the amazing Ta Prohm, where a movie about Lara Croft was filmed. You will taste local cuisine, try the most delicious coffee with a secret preparation method held by the Khmers. Optionally, you can visit Tonle Sap Lake - the largest in Asia - and observe life on the water.
