What to expect
Fascinating journey to Jordan
Your journey from Dahab will start with a two-hour bus ride, continue with a speedy ferry crossing the Gulf of Aqaba, and end with a overland transfer along the Wadi Rum desert with a stop at a scenic viewpoint. Along the way, the guide will talk about Jordan in general, its economy, religion, and traditions.
Enigmatic Petra and Sik Canyon
Petra will appear before you in all shades of red, pink, and ochre. You will learn who owned the ancient city, marvel at the architectural features and solutions of that time. The guide will lead you through the Sik Canyon, at the exit of which the famous Treasury Al-Khazneh will be revealed. Local bedouins will help you climb to the viewpoint for a tip. Then you will pass through caves, tombs, crypts, temples, and even a Nabatean registry office. You will return on foot or for an additional fee on horseback or in a golf cart.
Tasty lunch
After an exciting introduction to Petra, you will have lunch in a Jordanian cuisine restaurant. And in Aqaba port, if time permits, you can buy traditional souvenirs in local shops.
