About this experience
You are in for a long, but exciting and most importantly, not tiring journey to the gem of Kyrgyzstan: Lake Issyk-Kul. We will visit 'Hawaii' in the town of Tokmok - a favorite relaxation area for both locals and visitors. We will swim in yurts, attract swans. We will delve into the history of the region at a unique open-air petroglyph museum. But the main encounter awaits us ahead - and we won't miss it.
What to expect
Floating yurts and petroglyphs
On the way to Lake Issyk-Kul, we will visit the famous relaxation area 'Hawaii'. The main pleasure here is floating on yurt rafts on the lake with swans. You can visit the local zoo and a mini-beach with real palm trees. Further, we will encounter an amazing natural site - the open-air petroglyph museum, where you will see ancient images carved on rocks. They will complement the guide's story about the region's history and the culture of our ancestors.
Hot springs and a warm lake
Anticipating the meeting with Issyk-Kul, we will turn to hot thermal springs, where you can relax in open radon water baths. And finally, the main highlight of the day awaits us: the famous unfreezable Lake Issyk-Kul, one of the deepest in the world. You will admire the panorama of the 'heavenly mountains' of Tian Shan, the blue lake waters, and the desert shores, each with its own charm in their vastness.
