From Antalya to the ancient Aspendos theater and old Side (in a mini-group)

You will go where ancient artifacts will tell you about the distant past. You will see the ancient theater and it will be as if you hear the noise of the crowd welcoming their favorites - the gladiators. Walk through the streets of Side, where wealthy Romans and simple fruit vendors used to wander. The guide will tell you about the life and customs, holidays, and traditions of the city, the theater and its creators.
What to expect
Aspendos Ancient Theater
You will see the only well-preserved ancient theater in the world. You will learn how gladiators were trained and why they were so revered. The guide will explain the differences between ancient Greek and Roman theaters and how the creators of the theater in Aspendos achieved such excellent acoustics.
Ancient city of Side
You will start your walk from the ancient nymphaeum, where common people used to get drinking water. You will walk through ancient streets, see the former homes of wealthy Romans, public toilets, and the market of the old city - the agora. The guide will tell you how an ordinary day of a Roman citizen went, what holidays were celebrated here, what vegetables and fruits were grown, and where they were sold.
