About this experience
My tour will show you that coastal Turkey is not just beach holidays and walks through resorts. You will discover relics of Antiquity and untouched mountain nature! You will explore the amphitheater and aqueduct of the Roman city of Aspendos, admire the views in the canyon, and take top photos. The trip takes place in a comfortable car with stories about the history and life of Turkey.
What to expect
Ancient theater and aqueduct of Aspendos
A short drive from Antalya, and here we are already in the 2nd century AD, representing the heyday of the Roman city of Aspendos. The ancient theater, famous throughout the Mediterranean for its remarkably preserved structure, will be at the center of our attention. You will learn about the features of Roman period architecture, about the construction of the amphitheater, and the performances that unfolded here. Additionally, I will show you the 15-kilometer aqueduct and explain how it operated.
Tazi Canyon - one of the most photogenic places in Turkey
This canyon is still little known, as it was accidentally discovered only in 2017. Already on the way here, you will enjoy the emerald mountain landscapes, but the most impressive view will open from the viewpoint above the Koprucay River gorge. You will take photos on the rocks, see pines, cypresses, and cedars, and I will tell you about the animals that inhabit this area and what else makes it remarkable.
