Following the Medici
The tour will start at Basilica of San Lorenzo, where you will see the famous Medici Chapels - the family mausoleum of the dynasty. Next, explore their first official residence - Medici Riccardi Palace - and learn about its history. Wandering through narrow streets, you will find the office of the family bank and uncover the financial secrets of the legendary dynasty. I will also show you the monumental Palazzo Vecchio and initiate you into the secrets of the inhabitants of the second Medici residence.
Secrets of the famous dynasty
You will walk along the Medici family's secret passage - Vasari Corridor - and see Pitti Palace, the most magnificent palace of the dynasty. I will tell you about the secret deals, well-thought alliances, and secret conspiracies that helped the Medicis rise to the highest echelons of power. As well as how they managed to turn Florence into an open-air museum and the mark they left on world history.
