About this experience
Turkish Versailles is not an empty comparison. Dolmabahçe Palace can compete with its French counterpart in its magnificence. You will appreciate its territory with a regular park, fountains, and sculptures. Inside, you will be amazed by the beauty of the ceremonial interiors. We will also take you to the women's part of the palace - the harem. And to the painting gallery, where, among other things, you can see many works by Aivazovsky.
What to expect
Dolmabahçe. We will visit this palace, the interiors of which impress with magnificence. You will climb the Crystal Staircase, examine the luxurious chandelier made of Bohemian glass in the Ceremonial Hall, marvel at the decor of the Hall of Ambassadors. And we will tell you about the construction of the palace and the entire complex. And also about Atatürk, who lived and died here.
Harem. We will also visit the women's part of the palace - the harem of the Turkish sultans.
Painting gallery. This is a separate building that used to house an educational institution. In 1937, under Atatürk, it was converted into a painting gallery. One of the largest collections of Aivazovsky's paintings is located here.
