Imagine tunnels up to 10 meters deep, where up to 16,000 Vietcong could hide at once! At the same time, many passages are only 40 cm high... We will head to the area whose underground is entirely made up of tunnels. You will recall the tragic pages of the history of the Vietnam War, walk through the jungles, see interesting objects, and try field cuisine.
What to expect
- Drive 50 km (1 hour) to the Cu Chi partisans tunnels in the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City
- Documentary 'Heroic partisans of Cu Chi village' (15 minutes)
- Exhibition of partisan traps
- Walk through the jungles, where you will see countless secret tunnel entrances and exits, ventilation holes, camouflage disguised as bushes, field trenches, destroyed American tanks, huge craters from American B52 bombs, 'Hoang Kam' field kitchens, where some details of partisan craftsmanship and life will be demonstrated (making flat cakes from cassava flour)
- Visiting a shooting range where you can shoot targets with various types of Soviet and American weapons up to heavy machine guns
- Descent into tunnels 40 cm high
- Tasting of partisan field cuisine (pineapple leaf tea and cassava)
- Return to the hotel
