About this experience
You will see not only the main symbols of the city, but also attractions that are not included in the standard sightseeing tour. You will also understand why Ho Chi Minh was called the "Pearl of the Orient" and the "Paris of Indochina" in ancient times. I will tell you about the French and Chinese districts of the city, which, despite globalization, have preserved amazing charm and color.
What to expect
Ho Chi Minh through the centuries
In the beginning of the tour, you will visit the War Remnants Museum dedicated to the Vietnam War, or the Historical Museum, telling the long and complex history of the city and the country. Then you will visit the most famous and majestic temple of Ho Chi Minh - Ving Nghiem. You will also visit workshops of local artisans and colorful exotic markets, impressing with the riot of colors and variety of goods. I will tell you what is produced and grown in Vietnam and how to interact with local sellers. And, of course, I will recommend the best places for shopping and cozy cafes where you can enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
City Contrasts
Ho Chi Minh combines antiquity with modernity, East and West, ultra-modern urban areas and outskirts immersed in the greenery of fruit orchards. You will walk through the French quarters and see the city hall, the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, the statue of the Virgin Mary, the old post office, and the theater. Then you will drive along the Saigon River embankment and get acquainted with the other side of Ho Chi Minh, with skyscrapers and large shopping centers. I will help you feel the originality, diversity, and dynamism of the Vietnamese metropolis, as well as reveal its soul and unique character.
