Big Car and Walking Tour of Genoa

In the historic center of Genoa, the largest in Europe, I will show and tell you everything interesting! And to save your energy and spend time most efficiently, I suggest combining a walking tour with a car tour.

We will walk through the picturesque winding streets and ancient squares of the city, bearing the title La Superba (The Magnificent, The Proud). You will breathe in the atmosphere of this amazing city and see magnificent medieval palaces, Gothic churches, fish markets, and small private bakeries where you can enjoy delicious freshly baked Genoese focaccia. I will show you the favorite cafe of the famous Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, where we will definitely stop for a cup of coffee.

Then we will take a car ride to the most picturesque and inaccessible places, where it is simply impossible to reach on foot. From the car window, Genoa will reveal itself to you in all its uniqueness: beautiful streets and squares, majestic Liberty-style buildings, a picturesque embankment lined with ancient villas.

We will visit:

• San Benigno Field, also known as Camposanto Monumentale or Camposanto Vecchio, which translates from Italian as 'sacred field';
• Staglieno - the largest and most beautiful monumental cemetery in Europe. It is essentially an open-air museum that has impressed many famous people.
• Nervi - an aristocratic district where former residences of Genoese nobility with magnificent ancient villas and beautiful parks have been preserved. Here you can take a very pleasant walk.
