About this experience
After you've already explored the center of Belgrade, it's time to venture into the non-touristy areas of the city! The three locations on our route will help you immerse yourself in the culture, history, and creative life of the Serbian capital. You will visit the largest Orthodox temple in the Balkans, admire bright murals, and fall in love with the cobblestone streets of Zemun.
What to Expect
Christian Belgrade
First, we will visit the St. Sava Cathedral - the largest Orthodox temple in the Balkans. You will be amazed by the scale of this Belgrade landmark, admire the mosaic crafted by Russian masters, and marvel at the golden decor and snowy white facade. You will also hear interesting stories and legends about the construction of the temple.
Where Serbian street art lives
To immerse ourselves in the city's street culture, we will head to a district that street art artists from around the world have turned into a playground for self-expression. We will discover bright and impressive murals on the streets of Belgrade, trying to decipher the meanings and messages embedded in these very different works.
Authentic Zemun
This piece of Austro-Hungary from a century ago is a magnet of attraction where you will discover an unexpected side of Belgrade. You will be charmed by the cobblestone streets and houses with red-tiled roofs, the bustle of cafes and the smells of grills, the lively youth and the romance of the Danube. Sitting on the rocks of the Roman fortress, you will be completely immersed in the unique atmosphere of Zemun.
