You will stroll through its cozy streets, take atmospheric pictures, and immerse yourself in the spirit of non-classical Istanbul. Along the way, you will admire the Golden Horn bay and the city panorama from Pierre Loti Hill.
What to Expect
Golden Horn, cable car, and cafe on the hill
By ferry, we will reach the Eyüp district and enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the Golden Horn bay. In Eyüp, we will take a cable car to Pierre Loti Hill. Breathtaking views from the height are guaranteed!
We will visit the Pierre Loti cafe at the top of the hill overlooking the bay. You will taste authentic Turkish tea and coffee, and optionally have a snack. There is also an observation deck (53 m above sea level) with a magnificent panoramic view of the bay and the city.
Balat - the most colorful quarter of Istanbul
Next, we will take the tram to the colorful Balat district. Along the way, you will learn about the location of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. And, if possible, you can light a candle in the oldest Orthodox church from Byzantine times - the Church of Mary Mongolian.
In Balat, you will find colorful houses and charming streets. Walking here is like walking through the pages of a children's coloring book, everything is so bright! You will admire the non-standard architecture, take juicy photos, and optionally visit antique shops with curious vintage items. And we will tell you about the city's past and share interesting facts about it.
