About this experience
In this journey you will see where it all began in Sri Lanka - visit historical capitals, ancient temples, and climb the fortress of the ruler with lion gates. You will learn about tea production, observe elephants in the wild, and stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens, which houses a unique plant collection. In medieval Polonnaruwa, you will explore ruins and see the homes of the rich and poor on the island state.
