Ascent to Vesuvius and Walk around Pompeii

What to expect

A two-part program:

• Excursion around Pompeii

In short, you will:

• visit the national park and enjoy stunning views of Naples, Capri, Ischia and Procida
• climb a active volcano, look into the crater, and see sulfur emissions (fumaroles)
• reach the final stop of the world's first funicular built on a volcano
• listen to the famous song Funiculi Funicula dedicated to the funicular
• see Pompeii from a bird's-eye view
• try Neapolitan pizza or taste local wines on the slopes of Vesuvius (optional, upon request)
• visit Pompeii - the most famous archaeological museum in the open air
• immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient times and appreciate the interiors, layout of luxurious houses and villas, theaters, thermal baths, bakeries, and much more
• get answers to all your questions and learn what it's like to live by the motto "Carpe diem"!

• The National Park is open: from 9:00 to 18:00 in July and August, from 9:00 to 17:00 in April, May, June, and September, from 9:00 to 16:00 in March and October, from 9:00 to 15:00 from November to February
• Car transfer is not included in the excursion price. You can reach Vesuvius independently up to the 1000 meters level, and our guide will meet you at the Parkingsuviо parking lot. When ordering a transfer (1-4 people) Naples - Vesuvius - Pompeii - Naples through us, its cost will be €280, including parking at Vesuvius and Pompeii. The cost of a transfer by minivan or bus is calculated separately upon request.

Additional expenses

• Shuttle from the 1000 meters mark to the ticket offices - €2/person
• Entrance fee to the national park - €11/person. Children up to 120 cm in height enter for free.
• Entrance ticket to Pompeii - €18/person. Free entry for children up to 18 years old. If the Pompeii tour starts from the Sea Gates, then entry to the ticket office is without a line (in the high season, especially in summer, there are long lines in Pompeii, so you will save time and energy). If necessary, I can order tickets for you online to Vesuvius or Pompeii. In this case, the price for 1 ticket is €20.
• Visit to a family winery (optional) - €80 (guide services + car transfer for 1-4 people). Tasting and light lunch are paid separately - €28/person.
