About this experience
Are you ready to embark on a journey through the picturesque surroundings of Bishkek? In one day, you will visit Ala-Archa National Park and two gorges: Alamedin and Chunkurcheak. Experience the grandeur of the local mountains, inhale the scents of coniferous forests or alpine meadows. And we will share facts about the culture, way of life, and natural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.
What to expect
Our journey will take place on a prepared jeep and will last about 10 hours. During this time, you will visit three completely different locations with incredible landscapes. We will accompany the trip with stories about the traditions and culture of Kyrgyzstan, its mountainous regions, as well as the flora and fauna of those places.
- Ala-Archa National Park. This is where the rich program of our jeep tour will begin. You will see how the valley of the mountain river has collected a collection of landscapes of amazing beauty by nature itself. Various rock formations, rich flora, and fauna have turned this picturesque area into a recognized symbol of the Kyrgyz Range.
- Chunkurcheak Gorge. One of the most picturesque gorges in the country, which will amaze you with its beauty. It stretches at an altitude of 2400 m and invariably impresses travelers with a luxurious mix of snow-white mountain peaks, alpine meadows, and coniferous forests.
- Alamedin Gorge. Here you will find a variety of trees and shrubs, as well as breathtaking panoramas of mountain peaks. The gorge is home to hundreds of animals and birds. In the summer, horses and sheep graze on the green meadows, which are driven by shepherds. Dozens of medicinal plants also grow here, which are commonly collected, dried, and added to tea.
Organizational Details
- I or another guide from our team will conduct the tour for you
- We will travel in a prepared jeep. Transportation is included in the price.
- Lunch is not included in the tour price. There are two options available: you can bring a snack with you if you wish or we can stop at the ethno-complex Supara (offering national, European, and vegetarian cuisines)
- Entrance tickets are paid separately: Ala-Archa Park - 700 soms per car
- We can arrange a horseback ride through the gorge for you. The cost of a horse ride per hour is 1000 soms per person + an additional 1000 soms if an instructor is required
