About this experience
Can't decide which tour to go on? Want to learn about the history of Belgrade, look at the street art, and listen about the white emigrants? I offer you everything at once! Because I can do the following: combine the main and non-trivial in one walk, tell fascinating stories, and give you the feeling of a cool, useful, and enjoyable day.
What to expect
Main Belgrade
We will see all the main attractions of the city: Belgrade Fortress in Kalemegdan Park, the Parliament building, the Royal Palace, the church where Baron Wrangel is buried, St. Mark's Cathedral, and many luxurious buildings in the secession style. We will admire the splendid panorama of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, walk along the most ceremonial street in the city, and not forget about the ancient, cobblestone-paved streets.
Hidden Belgrade
I will show you places that Belgraders hide from outsiders. We will pass through dark passages, squeeze through cracks between buildings, dive into courtyards. We will find secret gardens and quiet art galleries, visit the designer quarter and apartment bars, see graffiti and murals. And most importantly: I will teach you how to find such places on your own. Because the main charm of Belgrade is not the luxurious secession and not the Danube quays, but this feeling from childhood when magic awaits you around every corner.
Multicultural Belgrade
You will hear a story about the very turbulent and exciting history of Belgrade, and Serbia as a whole. Different cultures have intersected here for centuries - I will tell you what came out of this and how Russian emigrants at the beginning of the 20th century seriously changed the face of the Serbian capital. We will talk about interesting traditions and urban legends, about modern life in the country, and everything that will be personally interesting to you.
If you still have energy, we can extend the walk and take a stroll through the former Turkish and Jewish quarters, visit unusual bars, and reach the famous bohemian quarter of Skadarlija.
