About the organizer
Hello, everyone. I am a translator and journalist, a bit of a poet and storyteller, and, not least, a mother of two children.
I have two higher education degrees (in German Philology from Lomonosov Moscow State University and in Translation Studies from Humboldt University, Berlin) and over 15 years of work experience (working with Russian-German-English languages), lots of travels across Germany and Europe, access to archival sources and stories from eyewitnesses. I love showing Berlin and its surroundings: Berlin is a city that is easier to understand 'through the eyes of a translator', through its history, architecture, literature, through personal destinies and strange stories.
