Entry to Uzbekistan is made with a passport.
For entry, a child's passport or a parent's passport with information about the child (up to 14 years) is required. Children under 16 are exempt from filling out an arrival customs declaration at the airport and obtaining temporary registration in Uzbekistan.
Medical insurance must be arranged in advance before entering the country. A medical insurance policy for at least $30,000 must cover, among other things, expenses for COVID-19 treatment.
Organization:
We do not recommend taking children under 12 years old on a group tour, as the travel pace is quite high, excursions are intense, and the material presentation is designed for an adult audience. In addition, children can delay the entire group, disrupting the scheduled excursion schedule.
For traveling with young children, we recommend an individual format and will be happy to arrange a route that will be interesting to all family members. Moreover, individual excursions can be adjusted on the spot.
To obtain a tourist SIM card, you need to contact the tourist information desk staff, present a passport with a stamp of arrival in Uzbekistan, choose a tariff plan, and make a payment for it. Tourist SIM cards are also sold at the central railway station in Tashkent, at the offices of mobile operators, at the 'International Hotel Tashkent,' and at the 'Saehat' hotels.
