About this experience
Being in Tanzania and not visiting its national parks is like not seeing the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Great Wall of China. In two days, you will fulfill an African dream: you will meet dozens of animals, from lions to rhinos, in the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire savannah, as well as visit a Maasai hunter village. This is the Africa you will dream of!
What to expect
Day one: the lost world of Ngorongoro Crater
Our adventure starts early in the morning at Arusha Airport, where you will arrive on an internal flight from Zanzibar. After meeting with a ranger, who will be your guide for the next 2 days, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater on safari jeeps - one of the most amazing places on the planet, where a unique natural environment has formed over millions of years, characteristic only of this place. From the upper edges of the crater, you will be greeted with a breathtaking view: a 20 km diameter green plateau with forests, swamps, and Lake Magadi at the bottom, frequented by pink flamingos.
In one day, you will meet the iconic animals of Africa: lions and cheetahs, elephants and rhinos, zebras, antelopes, leopards, and hippos, ostriches, hyenas, baboons, wart hogs, and mongooses. We will explore the main trails of the park in jeeps and try to get closer to the animals. And for lunch, we will stop in the heart of the crater, where you will be served a safari picnic lunch box from the hotel.
After lunch, you will visit a Maasai village to see how one of the most legendary and colorful peoples of Africa lives. And then, after watching the evening waterhole activity of the animals, around 18:00, you will be at the hotel to have dinner and recharge after an eventful day.
Day two: exploring Tarangire Park with the Maasai
After an early wake-up and breakfast, you will head to another national park in Tanzania, protected by UNESCO. In Tarangire, which is located in the savannah, you will once again meet countless African inhabitants. Moreover, your guides will be representatives of the unique Maasai people, who have preserved not only authentic costumes for centuries but also ancient hunting traditions and a way of life untouched by civilization.
Before lunch, you will study the wildlife of the savannah, get acquainted with the Maasai way of life, and capture stunning moments. And then you will head to Arusha Airport and take a comfortable flight back to Zanzibar!

The cost is indicated per person in a mini-group of up to 6 people. When booking the tour, check with the guide if a group is formed on the dates you need.

How the safari goes
- In a full-drive safari jeep
- Departure from your hotel in Zanzibar - around 5 am on the first day. Departure to Arusha at 7:40 from the internal terminal, arrival at 9:00
- Throughout the entire trip, you will be accompanied by an English- or Russian-speaking guide from our team. To clarify if Russian-speaking support is available on specific dates, contact the guide before booking.
- Full payment for the excursion is made before the safari starts
Payment for the safari
- 10 days before the start of the safari, a 50% advance payment of its cost must be made - in cash or to the guide's card
- If for any reason you cancel the booking more than 3 days before the date of the tour, we will refund the entire advance payment amount minus $50
