I invite you to an incredibly picturesque journey through the mountainous region of Turkey! You will ride along winding roads, enjoy the panorama of the majestic Tazy Canyon, and stroll through the ancient amphitheater. And I will tell you about the nature, the centuries-old history, culture, and traditions of my beloved country.
What to Expect
A Different Turkey
You will visit amazing places that dispel the myth of Southern Turkey as solely a beach region. The tour program includes:
- Tazy Canyon – from the viewing platform, you will see a gigantic rocky gorge, at the bottom of which flows the turquoise Köprüçay River. I will tell you how the canyon was formed and why it is called the 'Valley of Wisdom'.
- Ancient city of Aspendos – we will stroll among the ruins of the ancient city and appreciate the well-preserved Greco-Roman amphitheater. You will learn how many spectators it accommodates, what performances took place on its stage, and other interesting facts.
- Introduction to the national cuisine – you will be able to try traditional Turkish gözleme pastries, prepared right in front of you. They will be perfectly accompanied by fragrant tea or ayran.
