About this experience
To describe the Stockholm metro, words will always fall short. It needs to be seen with your own eyes! Together we will explore the most interesting and beautiful stations, immerse ourselves in their atmosphere, I will tell their history and show interesting details.
The Stockholm Metro - Tunnelbana - rightfully considered one of the main attractions of the city. Beautiful, unusual, strange, intricate, mysterious. Each line (there are three - 'green', 'red', 'blue') is designed in its own way. Here you will find fairytale grottos, Greek sculptures, ultra-modern video installations, pop art, and much more. The metro often hosts exhibitions by artists. In the past, the state annually invested around $1.5 million in the underground gallery.
What to Expect
We will ride the blue, the most beautiful line of the Stockholm metro and if desired, exit at several stations to the street to enhance your experience.
You will see:
- A station that leaves everyone who sees it in awe - Solna;
- The most intricate station - T-Centralen;
- A station that troubled the residents of Stockholm for several months and resembles ancient Roman ruins - Kungsträdgården;
- A station decorated by kids' drawings and not even shown on some maps - Hallonbergen.
If the duration of the tour increases (but not the cost!), I can show you another 1-2 equally interesting stations.
