About this experience
The cultural and religious uniqueness of the island is reflected in Bali's folk art, including decorative and applied arts. Historically, for many locals, engaging in creativity became the main way of earning a living. Thus, crafts have become a hallmark of Bali - during this journey you will get acquainted with some of them and will be able to buy wonderful souvenirs.
What to Expect
Our journey plan is simple: I will pick you up at your hotel, and we will visit several villages specializing in various forms of art. Along the way and on site, in workshops, you will learn about Bali's artistic world: the development of styles and trends, traditional materials, motifs, and subjects.
In our program:
- Toh Pati village, known for hand-painted fabric (Indonesia - the home of batik!)
- Celuk village, where original silver items are created
- Mas village, where you will see the works of talented wood carvers
- Batuan village, where you will immerse yourself in the colorful world of Balinese painting
Organizational Details
- I can pick you up from hotels in the areas of Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur, Sukawati, Keramas, Saba, and Ubud
- Possible additional expenses: meals at cafes and souvenirs
- I will conduct the tour for you or one of the guides from our team
