What to expect
My Son: Hindu Temples in Vietnam
My Son is a 10th-century religious complex. Many of its buildings were destroyed by erosion and bombings during the Vietnam War. But parts of the complex have been preserved - and we will carefully explore it. You will see ancient buildings, constructed from fired bricks using a special technique. As well as temples richly decorated with sculptures, reliefs, and mysterious inscriptions. You will uncover the specifics of cult Hindu architecture and enjoy a vibrant dance show against the backdrop of majestic ruins.
Idyllic Hoi An
In the 16th century, Hoi An was at the crossroads of trade routes from China and Japan. Since then, many stunning ancient houses with yellow walls and moss-covered tiled roofs have been preserved. Illuminated by red lanterns, they make an incredible impression. Moreover, Hoi An is also known as the Asian Venice - with numerous canals running through it, boats sailing. You will see all of this! We will tell you how Hoi An developed and what it lives on today.
