About this experience
Vietnamese Venice, the City of a Thousand Lanterns - the evocative names of Hoi An are highly romantic. Walking along its colorful streets and bridges is an endless joy. But we have a full day ahead of us! We will bike along the rice fields, float on a round boat through the coconut forest, visit the local market for noodles, and in the evening set magical lanterns afloat on the water.
What to Expect
- During the bike ride, we will explore the surroundings of Hoi An and ride along picturesque rice fields.
- Stroll across the covered Japanese Bridge - a key landmark of the city. Once connecting Japanese and Chinese quarters, today it stands as a symbol of Hoi An featured on the 20,000 Vietnamese dong banknote.
- Visit the central Cho Hoi An market, where you can find unique souvenirs and try local street food, including the famous Cau Lau noodles.
- Take a ride on a round boat through the waterways of the coconut forest of Cam Thanh. End the journey with a walk through the canals and lantern lighting.
- I will reveal the history of Hoi An to you, which is essentially an open-air museum. I will introduce you to the traditions of the local residents and Vietnamese in general. I will tell you legends that perfectly complement the romantic atmosphere of the city on water.
