About this experience
For those who have already traveled around our island, I suggest visiting the amazing Trunyan village: here grows a sacred tree exuding an aroma that legends are made of. And people are buried in a non-standard way - I will share the details of the local cemetery ritual. You will also have a photoshoot at the waterfall, taste Balinese coffee, and have lunch with a view of the volcano.
What to Expect
From a Cool Waterfall to Hot Coffee
First, we will visit the twenty-meter Tegenungan waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery. You will take great photos, and if you wish, you can swim in the waterfall lagoon.
Through the jungle, we will drive to a plantation where coffee, cocoa, spices, and many fruits are grown. I will tell you how coffee is produced, what traditional methods of processing it exist, and how the beans are roasted in Bali. And then you will taste drinks from different varieties.
Exclusive Village Visit and Lunch at a Height
Our destination is the village of Trunyan. By boat, we will cross Lake Batur and find ourselves among the descendants of the first Balinese. They have preserved ancient traditions, including the unusual burial ritual: the deceased are left in the roots of a sacred tree that spreads a wonderful aroma. You will hear about the details of this ritual and visit the cemetery. I will also share stories with you about the daily life of the Balinese and the customs of other villages on the island. The tour will end with lunch in a restaurant with a stunning view of the volcano and Lake Batur.
