Phuket is famous not only for its kilometers of beaches but also for regular biker gatherings. Join me on a motorcycle tour where you will learn a lot about motorcycling festivals and enthusiasts who come here with their bikes from all over Asia. We will see models of legendary motorcycles and equipment from different brands, and we will also experience the atmosphere of highway gas stations on Route 66.
What to Expect
- We will visit the Harley-Davidson dealership, where all the bike models available in Thailand are on display in the showroom. In the accessories and gear department, fans of the brand will find what they have been looking for.
- Next, we will head to West Custom and see dozens of legendary motorcycle models, immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of American gas stations on Route 66. Ryan Friedlinghaus, the owner of West Custom, partly became the founder of the motorcycling culture in Phuket. If we are lucky and he has some free time, he will gladly share a lot of fascinating information about this direction.
- For some diversity, we will visit the Mercedes-Benz car museum and service center from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
- To add some emotions and relaxation to our trip, we will head to Mai Khao Beach, where planes fly low overhead, and have lunch at a local trusted cafe.
- And then I will take you back to the hotel. On the way, I will tell you many interesting facts about the history and geography of the island, as well as about local traditions.
