About this experience
In the eastern part of the island, against the backdrop of urban and sea landscapes, very atmospheric photos are obtained. That's why I chose these places for a photo tour. We will drive through picturesque villages, swim in a cozy bay, have lunch in a tavern. I have been living in Crete for over 7 years, soaked in the local culture from head to toe, and will gladly immerse you in it too.
What to expect
Mirabello Bay coast
We will drive along the coast and take colorful professional shots. We will visit old Cretan windmills that remind us of the island's rural past. We will pass through small villages and enjoy the scenic expanses of the mountainous island.
Village of Plaka
We will visit a village with unique views of Spinalonga Island and stunning panoramas around. Former fishing settlement - now a place with beautiful natural pools and colorful fish taverns. Here you can swim, take seaside photos, and have a delicious lunch.
Agios Nikolaos
This is another highlight of the coast. For the eyes and beautiful shots, there is a wealth of unique architecture created by the Venetians, a freshwater lake, and panoramic viewpoints. We will stroll through the central streets, walk along Lake Voulismeni, visit the main places of the city, and even taste it.
Kritsa
Then we will visit the traditional village of Kritsa. We will see how the white and blue colors of Cycladic architecture harmonize with blooming bougainvillea there. We will immerse ourselves in the beautiful local culture. This village is not a popular destination among tourists, but it is incredibly photogenic and authentic.
Organizational details
- The tour will take place in a compact 5-seat SEAT Leon or a similar car
- The program includes transfer, services of a guide-photographer, professional photos
- Lunch is additionally paid - starting from €15/person
- Within 7-10 days, you will receive all the photos (200-300 shots), as well as 30 color-corrected shots with light body and face retouching. I will send a link to download the photos in electronic format.
- I will pick you up from the hotel in the Heraklion region (Chersonissos, Malia, Gouves, Anisaras, Sissi, Kokini Hani, Karteros, Amoudara) or in Agios Nikolaos and its surroundings
- Since we will visit 4 beautiful locations, there is an opportunity to change outfits. I will help you choose them in advance, send color palettes. I will also assist with posing.
- If you are traveling with children, the village of Kritsa can be replaced with a lemur contact park. Entrance tickets are additionally paid - €10/adult, €5/child
