About this experience
Located in the center of Osh, the mountain of Sulaiman-Too has become its hallmark. You will climb it along the pilgrims' trail and appreciate its main attractions: the cave museum with petroglyphs and Babur's house at the top. Along the way, I will tell you about the Great Silk Road, the Kokand Khanate, the Davan state, and much more.
What to expect
We will climb the mountain of Sulaiman-Too along the pilgrims' trail on the southern slope – gaining an altitude of 150 meters. Along the way, you will see the excavations of an ancient settlement of priests. In the Cave Museum of Spiritual Culture, you will appreciate 3000-year-old petroglyphs and uncover why the flag of Kyrgyzstan features a pagan symbol. Additionally, I will show you Babur's house – a descendant of Tamerlane – and tell you how he described Osh in his book 'Babur-nama'.
