About this experience
In this journey, you will discover the most beautiful, flavorful, and intriguing places of the mountainous Strandzha Reserve, located just a half-hour drive from Burgas. I will be your guide through the green forests and whimsical rocks, healing springs and sacred caves. You will see the reserve from above, stroll through the picturesque village of Bryashtyan, and taste the delicious local trout.
What to Expect
Enchanting Natural Sites
We will hike along the beautifully equipped tourist trail along the Mladezhka River winding through the forest and rocks. You will see ice-cold springs gushing from the ground, learn about their healing properties, and visit mysterious cave sanctuaries. Climb the lookout tower, enjoy mystical landscapes, and capture incredible photos. Nearby, the famous 'Kissing Stones' await us – an arch rock, passing under which, according to legend, one can find happiness and harmony in personal life.
Local Fish Delicacies
Next, we will visit 'Ribarnik' – a fish farm on the Veleka River, where fish farmers cultivate river trout and carp in special ponds. In the cozy restaurant of the farm, we will take a break for lunch and try fish delicacies, discuss local traditions and national cuisine. And after lunch, if you wish, we will descend to the river to swim a little!
Architecture of Colorful Bryashtyan
Our next stop is the unique village of Bryashtyan. This architectural reserve preserves untouched centuries-old houses built in the traditional Strandzha style. You will immerse yourself in the amazing, fairy-tale atmosphere of the local streets and learn about the peculiarities of Bryashtyan's houses.
And at the end of the walk, a surprise awaits you! We will visit another secret place that truly takes your breath away...
