About this experience
What is a real Vietnamese fishing experience? With me, you will discover the lives of ancestral fishermen, try to catch pufferfish and parrotfish, explore the underwater world, and get a closer look at the clownfish Nemo. Also, on board you will enjoy soulful guitar songs, conversations about everything, and a delicious lunch which is already included in the price.
What to expect
- Fishing village. Here you will see how fishermen live. Take a walk through narrow streets, see houses on stilts and a jetty made of broken concrete, and meet colorful Vietnamese people.
- Sea fishing. We will catch perch, pufferfish, and parrotfish and make freshest sashimi out of them.
- Snorkeling. After fishing, we will go to a deserted beach in a secluded bay of the island. You will swim and observe sea urchins, snakes, starfish, and fish from the movie 'Finding Nemo'.
- Picnic on board the ship. We will prepare the freshly caught fish, kebabs, and mushrooms on the grill. There will also be fruits, vegetables, and baguette.
- Songs with guitar and conversations about everything. Along the way, you will enjoy musical sets lasting 45-60 minutes. I will also tell you about the Cham people and their war with the Vietnamese, the peculiarities of fish behavior, and the fishing season.
