What to Expect
Real fishing without complications and frills
With songs accompanied by a guitar, we will sail to the fishing spot and drop anchor. I will explain the traditions of Vietnamese sailors: for example, why they sprinkle tobacco into the sea before setting sail. I will talk about the features of the squid, its habitat, and diet. I will describe the methods of fishing and bait. And meanwhile, I will draw your attention to the swift movements of the needlefish (garfish) overboard.
Catch of the Fisherman
Amidst tales of the sea abyss and admiration of Nha Trang left on the shore, we will start catching squid. And also octopuses and cuttlefish. I will teach you how to properly pull out sea monsters and dodge their ink. I will reveal the recipe for the authentic dish by the sailors - raw squid in a traditional sauce. And suggest finishing the fishing trip with a great dinner of marinated mushrooms, grilled vegetables, and fresh sea catch.
Organizational Details
- All safety requirements are observed on board, there are life jackets. A rescuer will accompany us.
- Dinner and transfer from the meeting point are included in the price
- Dress in clothes you don't mind getting dirty or ruined
- Due to worsening weather conditions, fishing may be postponed to another day - such things cannot be predicted in advance
